C. 900-1100 AD, Viking Age. A silver D-shaped hoop enclosing a circular bezel, set with a yellowish-green stone cabochon secured by four additional ‘arms.’. The Vikings are known as warriors but were also famed during the Middle Ages for the high quality of their intricate jewellery. Excellent condition; wearable.
